Set sail on an awesome adventure in search of Alaska's wildlife and whales.
Take a short motorcoach ride to scenic Auke Bay, where you will board a high-speed catamaran specifically designed for wildlife viewing.
On this excursion you will:
- Relax in the warm, comfortable main cabin, surrounded by large panoramic windows as your experienced captain guides you through the island-studded waters of Stephen's Passage.
- Learn against the majestic backdrop of the Chilkat mountains and the glaciers of the Juneau Ice Field, your onboard naturalist explains the behavior and habitats of the wildlife you may encounter, including humpback and killer whales, Stellar sea lions, harbor seals, bald eagles, and Sitka black-tailed deer.
- Be guaranteed by the operators of this excursion to see a whale. If not, you'll receive a $100 cash refund ($50 refund per child) as you disembark. But don't anticipate a refund; in the past nine years, whales have been sighted on every trip!
- Be provided throughout your cruise an attentive crew.
Note: The vessel is restroom equipped, and binoculars and souvenir route guides are provided along with complimentary snacks and beverages.
