This captivating tour is one of the best ways to experience Barbados and learn of this beautiful island seeped with history and culture. The journey begins on the stunning South Coast of Barbados with its crystal waters and blinding white sands, passing the World Heritage Site of the charming capital city of Bridgetown and The Garrison Savannah where you will see numerous historic buildings providing an outstanding example of British Colonial Architecture from the 17th Century as well as George Washington House and collection of cannons surrounding the Savannah. This scenic journey will also take you past the popular and charming fishing village of Oistins and many spectacular beaches. The first stop is at one of the most advanced rum distilleries in the world, The Foursquare Rum Distillery, for a guided tour where you can sample the award winning Barbados rum before continuing the journey through the lush countryside to the historic Sunbury Plantation and Museum. This beautiful 300 year old plantation is home to many interesting pieces from this era and is one of the only Great Houses in Barbados that is completely open for viewing! Have a complimentary beverage before continuing to unique Medford’s Mahogany Craft World where you can see how these exquisite creations are made, and perhaps purchase a one of a kind piece to take home with you!
