Excursion Description

Experience the thrill of diving in the clear, warm waters of the Caribbean.

On this excursion you will:

  • Board a U.S. Coast Guard certified dive boat for the ride to your first dive site.
  • Listen as PADI divemasters and instructors provide an informative pre-dive briefing and accompany you on the dives.
  • Know the two dive sites on the day of the dive, depending on local weather conditions; among the possible sites are the Buck Island
  • Wildlife Refuge and the wreck of the Cartanser Senior or Navy barges which provide an abundance of intriguing marine life.
  • Learn that dive sites range in depths, from 35 to 55 feet, and offer very relaxing diving with outstanding visibility and little to no surge or current.

Note:  Minimum age is 12 years.  Equipment included (mask, snorkel, fins, bc, tanks); wetsuit rental available by request for $10.  A valid Open Water Certification Card (“C-Card”) must be presented in order to participate.  Consult the Diving Policy at the beginning of your Shore Excursions booklet prior to booking.  The boat trip to the dive sites may be choppy, but the sites are normally relatively calm.

And if your shore excursion experience was less than perfect - well, that's perfectly alright too - we'd like you to share your experience here too. The more reviews that are left, the better a resource this is for everybody.

How to leave a great review

All you need to do is share your honest opinions. (Just make sure it doesn't include personally-identifying information or pricing information.) Try to remember as many details as you can about your experience - the more you can add to it, the better. We'll also ask you to score the excursion based on Value, Convenience... and perhaps most importantly, Fun.

Why reviews are important

Reviews help cruisers just like you make more informed decisions when planning ways to spend their time ashore. They also help Carnival understand which shore excursion operators are providing our guests with fun experiences that meet their expectations, so that we can constantly improve our shore excursion lineup across all ports of call that Carnival visits.

Getting started

Writing a shore excursion review is easy! Here's how:

  • Select a port of call you've visited
  • Find an excursion you've done
  • Click "Write a Review"
  • Then just write a review!
