Excursion Description

Come on board the custom-built Newton Dive Boat for a two-tank dive on the most famous wreck dive in the Caribbean, the RMS Rhone.

The first dive is an exploration of the bow, which lies mostly intact in 75-80 feet of water where this historical British mail steamer sank in an 1867 hurricane. The second dive is a tour of the stern (15-65 feet of water), passing by several historical points of interest such as the lucky porthole and the captain’s silver teaspoon.

Abundant fish life and encrusting coral will make this excursion the highlight of your cruise. This is an advanced dive and divers should be aware that surface conditions may be rough, the site is deep and there may be current.

And if your shore excursion experience was less than perfect - well, that's perfectly alright too - we'd like you to share your experience here too. The more reviews that are left, the better a resource this is for everybody.

How to leave a great review

All you need to do is share your honest opinions. (Just make sure it doesn't include personally-identifying information or pricing information.) Try to remember as many details as you can about your experience - the more you can add to it, the better. We'll also ask you to score the excursion based on Value, Convenience... and perhaps most importantly, Fun.

Why reviews are important

Reviews help cruisers just like you make more informed decisions when planning ways to spend their time ashore. They also help Carnival understand which shore excursion operators are providing our guests with fun experiences that meet their expectations, so that we can constantly improve our shore excursion lineup across all ports of call that Carnival visits.

Getting started

Writing a shore excursion review is easy! Here's how:
