Lunch is on your own. Museums are closed on Monday’s in Florence. Your escort will inform you about meeting arrangements, so please make note of all information provided. Due to new traffic regulations drop off/on bus points at Florence may change.

Please have your shoulders and knees covered while inside the Cathedral.  Comfortable shoes, water and a sun hat are recommended. 

Ongoing restoration work is often carried out at various attractions. Major museums require advanced bookings and lines can be long. 

On Sundays and Mondays, some stores may be closed.

On this beautiful excursion you will:


  • Be provided a local escort, during your 1½-hour transfer, who will provide you with city maps and information about what to do and see once you get there.
  • Discover the famous sights that most appeal to you: the main Square of the Duomo with its Cathedral, Bell Tower and Baptistery; the Santa Croce Square with the ancient church of Santa Croce housing tombs and monuments of famous Italian geniuses; or the Piazza della Signoria which resembles an open air museum adorned with beautiful statues like Michelangelo’s David.
  • If you love the Italian lifestyle, you can simply stroll and soak up the magic atmosphere of the city or relax in a local café or restaurant; do some people watching; or buy some souvenirs.
