Excursion Description
Glide along the canals of Venice after dinner, bathed in the glow of lighted palaces, and experience one of the most endearing pleasures - an evening gondola ride with serenading musicians.
On this beautiful excursion you will:
- Experience Venice is best admired from the water and the city provides lovely viewing, especially at night, with the moonlight reflections glistening upon the water.
- Depart from the ship by private launch or coach to be transferred to the closest spot to the gondola station.
- After a short walk, you will board the typical sleek, black Venetian craft, riding four guests per gondola, to gently glide through the canals to the sound of serenading musicians.
- To complete this memorable evening, a singer and musician (one duo every six/seven gondolas) will accompany you on this non-narrated trip.
- At the end of the gondola ride, some free time will be given for you to stroll and breathe in the amazing Venetian atmosphere as you view the local colors before returning to the ship by launch.
NOTE: Weight limit is 230 lbs per person. Your gondola ride is approximately 40 minutes and is not narrated. Sitting together on the goldonola is not always possible.
Please note this excursion cannot operate in rainy weather or during extremely high/low tidal conditions.
Guests must be able to board the gondola with minimal assistance in order to participate on this excursion. No wheelchairs admitted.
Please be advised this excursion is non refundable and also unable to be exchanged within 48 hours of our arrival into Venice, due to very limited availability of the types of transportation used
