Nice is believed to be one of the oldest human settlements in Europe established by the ancient Greeks which gives the city a unique culture. Pass the exquisite Promenade des Anglais, named after the English Colony who financed the street.
See the Negresco Hotel, also on the Promenade des Anglais, which was constructed in 1912 and named by the Government of France as a National Historic Building. Next, pass by the Russian Orthodox Cathedral with its large domes and colorful ceramics.
Disembark your motor coach in the Old Town area of Nice and walk the cours Saleya, a charming promenade leading to the markets in Nice. Take in the tall colorful houses that shade over the narrow avenues. Stroll among the stalls in search of the finest blossoms at the flower market.
