Visit the exciting, world renowned Arts Village of Fiji at Pacific Harbour. The reverberating sound of a hollow drum beaten by a Fijian warrior while the blowing of a conch shell and the tune of island serenaders provides a welcome to the village where you will witness a spectacular performance by the Fijian Firewalkers.
As elders chant, young men remove the burning logs from a smoking pit to reveal the white-hot stones signalling the start of this ancient ceremony. Witness the dances and the re-enactment of legend and history which are professionally produced and led. No conventional stage here; the reenactment is one with the mysterious island, its waterfall, jungle, the well guarded chief's bure and the tallest Bure Kalou in Fiji.
After the show, stroll among the exotic tropical gardens set with cool fern trees and shady palms. Thrill to the music of the island serenaders or join a guided walking tour around the Arts Village complex.
