Dear Carnival Guest,

We want you to be aware that we will change the itinerary for this cruise.  Unfortunately, the ship experienced a technical problem with the propulsion system on the previous cruise. This is only impacting the cruising speed.  All other systems and hotel services are operating normally.  Our technical team is working on the problem, but repairs will not be completed prior to this cruise.

Due to the reduced cruising speed, we will be forced to cancel our scheduled call in Freeport. We will now offer a visit to Nassau on Saturday from 7:30 AM until 6:30 PM.

Carnival will provide guests that sail on this new cruise with a $100 per person credit to their onboard Sail & Sign account. In addition, guests that sail will receive a 20% discount off a future 3 to 7 day Carnival cruise (excluding Alaska, Christmas and New Years) departing prior to December 13, 2007. This discount applies to the cruise fare only. Please understand that this offer is non-transferable. Shore excursions pre-purchased for Freeport will be automatically refunded to your Sail & Sign account.  

We sincerely apologize for this situation. The officers, staff and crew will do everything possible to minimize this inconvenience and provide you with a great cruise vacation.
