Carnival Ecstasy – September 13, 2007 Departure

We have been closely monitoring the progress of Hurricane Humberto. Due to the local impact from this storm, we want to advise guests boarding today that the ship was delayed arriving back to Galveston from the previous cruise.  Because of this delay, we are now expecting boarding for today’s cruise to begin at about 2:30 PM.

If travel plans are flexible, we strongly recommend that guests arrive at the terminal in Galveston after 2:00 PM. In addition, we will delay our departure time from Galveston to 6:00 PM. This delay will not impact the itinerary and allow guests some extra time to get to the port if needed.

Most importantly, we are looking forward to welcoming our guests aboard the beautiful Carnival Ecstasy. The Captain, officers, staff and crew are dedicated to providing a great cruise experience.
