I am looking to go zip lining and it looks like it may be best in Belize, but I also really want to do the cave tubing in Belize.  The zip line in Cozumel looks like it is in an adventure park and I am concerned because it may be too childish. I am really confused... any advice??

We did the Lost Canopy Tour Zipline in Belize with NCL in 08 and had a great time! Definitely NOT childish.  We're going back in 3 weeks and my husband & daughter are doing it again.  I'm not because I don't like the really long bus ride.  It takes all day and leaves no time to do anything else, but worth it.  I don't have anything to compare it to, but this one is in the jungle, for sure!

My husband and kids did the zipline in Belize and other than the long bus ride, they absolutely loved it.  Definitely a true zip line with lots of tropical trees and growth below.  You are correct that the zip line in Cozumel is at a park-like setting and definitely not out in the middle of a true tropical environment.

      Hi JMC,

Any Guesstimate on how long the bus ride was - and was it straight up mountain terrain?  Would love to experience it but don't know if my vision impaired husband could handle getting there if there is much of a trek on foot to get there.  He can see just not very well.  We want to do it,  but also want to get input from others that have done it!   Thanks for taking time to answer!
