        Hi, just wondering what to expect during our crossing from Honolulu - does anyone have any idea how rough it will get on the open ocean?

        My wife and I were on the Carnival Spirit in 2008. We sailed from Hawaii to Ensenada Mexico. The 5 days of just sailing is not for everyone but its relaxing.. We went in October and the weather was very good. The ocean was calm all the way, but if a storm pops up it could get a little bumpy. The stabilizers do a good job of settling the ship down. The air was a bit chilly though.

        Done this twice - once in March and once in October.  The crossing was cold and a little rough in March, it was warmer and calmer in October. 

        Hope it is nice in December....

        Forgot about this thread. We, we went and came back and it was GREAT. A little cool the first couple of days, but Spirit does have a covered, heated pool.

        Wonderful, wonderful pictures!!! I can hardly wait to go!!! We are going on the Splendor and thank goodness we don't have to leave out of Ensenada! Thank you so much for sharing zydecocruiser......Big Smile
