My husband, two teenage sons and I are booked on the Freedom leaving July 3rd. We are looking for a nice beach to go to and relax in Colon. Anyone know of any beaches near the port? Thank you!

WHEN YOU HAVE TIME LOOK THROUGH ALL THE POSTS ABOUT THE PANAMA CANAL AND COLON, ALL SAY ITS DANGEROUS TO ROAM AROUND COLON. THE CANAL TOUR SEEMS TO BE THE CHOICE.

Yes I have read that. Just was hoping there was a beach close to the port. I am traveling with 2 teenage boys and a husband and none of the tours seem to interest them. I have read about Cristobal Pier. May try to venture there. Not sure though.
