I need some advice from some experienced cruisers.  My husband and I have done a Carnival cruise to Mexico/Caymans/Jamaica this summer and are now looking to do an Alaska cruise.  We are thinking one of the first few weeks of May due to his job restriction.  Anyone travel to Alaska that time of year and have any weather advice?  I hear it is so cold that there are no animals out and that the glaciers do not fall as easily but that it is still in the low 50s.  Any thoughts?????  Thank you!!!!!!

Hi Aggiechic, I take it your a Texas Aggie, hope you, love them Aggies, my daughter went to UT in Austin so I have to flip a coin when they play.  My wife and I are going to Alaska on Carnival Spirit late May, flying into Vancouver Cananda.  Our travel agent said the weather is beautiful, though it is cold when you travel through the glaciers.  Jeans, shirts, tennis shoes, light jacket is fine according to her.  Have fun, my email address is aapena47@yahoo.com incase you want to share trip ideas.  Take care.
