Roll Call April 21, 2012

Thanks.  Stayed last time in French Qtr. and although the hotel was nice, it was a borderline bad area.  We were told by hotel staff how many blocks each way were "safe".  Planning WAY ahead...2/2013...but want to get a hotel since it will be a busy time there.

Hey Gecko....you're almost there!  Hope you have a wonderful time and a happy b'day.  We aren't booked till 2/13.  I did book a hotel as soon as the date became available.  Wanted to make sure to get that done as it will be the weekend before Fat Tues.  Totally forgot to check on that before I booked the cruise.  Have a good one.....and happy packing.

Lisa...BON VOYAGE.   Have the best time ever in Conquest...it is a wonderful ship.  I hope Jill, Ken and you enjoy Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Coz then come back safe to tell us all about it.

Tracy...It is only 56 days, must be getting very exciting for you. Have you started some sort of packing..? You know the day will arrive in a hurry and before you know you are a seasoned cruiser.

If you need any help with planning let me know. Progresso is a gateway city...a place from to visit Merida or Chi Chen Itza but not much of a destination itself. Coz has endless activities but so little time...so choose wisely.

I sail in 86 days!!!  Then I have a trip to Jamaican Resort.  Then in Janiuary its South America baby!!!

Yes we are very excited! I haven't started packing yet but I have been THINKING of packing and started a list of things to remember. I am also already thinking toward our next cruise (probably next year) and really leaning toward the Conquest (Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Montego Bay) that you mentioned earlier.

I have booked the Mexican Cuisine Cooking excursion in Cozumel but we do not plan to book an excursion in Progresso. After lots of reading on this forum I was thinking we would maybe catch a taxi into town and do the double decker bus tour then shop or beach or eat from there. Any suggestions from you along those lines would be wonderful!!!
