We were told in 2010 by a member of the orchestra that Carnival was cutting down on all the live music. The orchestra was 7 members at that time and he told us they were going to 5. WE love the live music, both the orchestra and the small groups on the lido and the Promanade. So we were really dssapointed.
I did write a letter to Carnival. (I just feel that it does no good to just b**** about it, but a letter might get some attention)
We were glad to see that The Legend in Nov 2011 had great live music all over the ship. So Maybe we weren't the only ones who objected.
What i really HATE is the big screen with a loop of forest and stream videos while the live performers are playing on the lido. Who ever thought the big screen was an enhancement should be fired!!!
If I wanted to watch a movie, it certainly wouldn't be on the lido and not conflicting with great carribbean live music!! Love those steel drums, but the nature show on the ginormous screen over their heads is a really bad idea. That really needs to be reviewed. hmmmm, maybe I'll write another letter!! HaHa!
