        It is not in town, but if you want great local food I would highly recommend the Cave Restaurant (82 Big Salmon River Road, Bay View, NB E5R 1P2, Canada).  I went there last month while sailing on the Glory.

        OOOOO That looks good...Well be on the cruise in 2 days. Have nothing planed in ST. Johns. Now we well have to go get the clam chowder. Thanks for the pictures,my mouth is watering.....Me.

               I am on Canadian tour right now,And I saw your informative post, I really appreciate your post.Now I would like to know more attractions of Canada and best restaurants like you have shared in your post,where we could taste best meals.So,Can you reply me?

        Really nice to see someone spelling it out the right way.  It is Saint John, not St. John, to differentiate from St. John's in Newfoundland.

        Yep.  I will be doing another Canada cruise this summer, but it is going to Halifax and not Saint John.
