We were on the Pride Sep 11th-18th...I agree with William J when he said the room service was a little shot on this voyage. Our breakfast items too were short some items we asked for on several occasions. One time they omitted bowls..but we didn't let that spoil anything we just poured the cereal directly into the milk cartons, quick fix. My husband really fell in love with the blt's and potato chips last cruise, but this time the chips were stale, when we asked for different ones we were told that they were running out of chips. We thought that was weird since it was only the second night of the cruise. When ever we wanted something after hours at other times on the cruise we
would go up to Lido deck and get pizza..we thought the pizza on the ship
was really tasty. All of the food we ate in the MDR was hot and fresh...even the bread was warm when we got there. All the waiters were really helpful and caring and we had a good experience in there and we went every single night of our cruise. We had your time dining and discovered that if we did not arrive to the line early like around 5:30ish...we would be waiting in a very long line, and we may not have gotten to sit alone. Last year on the Pride we had your time dining and my husband and I always got to sit together at a booth. I was telling my husband that I thought this cruise may have been more packed that our last one and that's why they were sticklers on the seating arrangements. If you are traveling with your spouse or just one other person you would like to eat with, unless you want to share a table with strangers you should plan to arrive to the MDR early as the private tables fill up fast. We only had to share one night and then we got the hang of the timing..By the way it's never bad to eat and commune with others...sometimes you just want the privacy.. ...but we got over it and didn't let any of that spoil our cruise....We cruised on the Pride last September for our honeymoon and there are a lot of things that have changed...but hey change is great and to be expected...I was really worried about cruising during this time due to the hurricanes and tropical storms...but we could not have asked for prettier weather in the Bahamas. Our stops at Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau were all beautiful!
We really enjoyed the punchliner comedy club...there was a guy my husband and I really liked named Tracy Crews II who came on at the end of the cruise...We went to all of the adult shows that he offered and he was fantastic...Like others have said..your vacation is all in what you make of it....So don't let little things spoil your fun...just takes things as they come and roll with it....To everyone cruising soon...have a great vacation!!! I can't wait for our next one...hopefully the rocky episode with this one hasn't scarred my hubby for life..lol...
