There´s a place where fun people gather to share ideas and opinions. And that place is the forums. Good thing you're here!
Does anyone know of any place to get good seafood in Galveston? I know there are lots of restaurants down there, but I would love some imput. We will be arriving this Friday and sail out Saturday, can't wait! Thanks for the help!
Hi WOG, there is a place called "The Spot" give them a try you can look them up on the internet. We are going there in june the day before we leave on our cruise. I have some friends that say it a great place to eat they have a little of everything. Hope that helps.
The Spot is ok, Gaido's on the seawall gets my vote but a little more upscale. Right next door is Casey's, great seafood again, pretty fast service and a real nice outdoor deck also.
Casey's Seafood Cafe. We ate there last time we were in Galveston. Great food, and fresh.
Marios is excellent. on the seawall with views of the gulf. great italian food and AWESOME desserts.
Gaido's is great. You might also try Fish Tales. Good food and drinks. Either way, try to avoid rush hours.
Casey's is good and casual. Also try Boudreaux's on the Bayou (http://www.boudreauxsonthebayou.com/). For breakfast or lunch, go to the Star Drug Store in the Strand (http://galvestonstardrug.com/index.html).
If you want a great lunch, try Shrimp and Stuff on Ave O.Great place for a nice lunch. For dinner you might try Stingaree in Crystal Beach.
Love Stingrayees but also Willie G's (pricey) right by the port. I know this is an old forum.
