We haven't scheduled any excursions yet....just booked the cruise last week.
We have sailed before over Thanksgiving...I loved it not having to cook all day...but did promise my hubby his Turkey dinner when we came back. Two years ago we sailed the day after Christmas and we were on the ship for New Years Eve which was awesome. It was pretty crazy, because we woke up super early Christmas morning, opened gifts, got dressed and off to the airport where we had Christmas breakfast. I have to say it was wonderful. We also did another Holiday sailing out of San Diego, same thing day after Christmas and through New Years.
The ship is decorated for the Holidays, great photo opportunities. Santa makes an appearance for the kids. I'm thinking that this time since we will be on the cruise for Christmas of bringing stockings and suctions cups to hang them. I figure the cruise is really our family gift...I'm pretty sure my youngest doesn't believe in Santa....but she hasn't let on...so I will need to stuff stockings.
You are going to love the Caribbean! We have done a few different ones. This trip has only one port we have been to before and that is one of the reasons we chose it...and of course the new ship!
