Just got back from our cruise that departed from Seattle.
Seattle is a really nice place.
It cost us around $40-$45 to take a taxi from the airport to our hotel on 5th Avenue- The Westin.
Everything was within walking distance for us. Space Needle, Pike Place, Waterfront.
I would not recommend going to pike place on a Sunday. It was PACKED! We went the next morning and it wasn't very busy at all. We ate lunch at Beecher's Handmade cheese. It was delicious. We also went to the very first starbucks there.
At first we didn't realize how to get down to the waterfront. You have to go behind Pike Place Market and take an elevator down to the lower lever. Then you can cross the street and there are shops, restaurants, etc.
We also bought some Mariners Tickets for $28 the same day. We had 1st row tickets in the balcony and the seats were PERFECT!
We ate at the revolving restaurant at the space needle. It was not worth the money. We paid $120 for two people . They had limited selection of food and it wasn't amazing.
