Does any one know if the balconies on the 11th deck (Spa Deck) of the Victory have an overhead covering or are they completely exposed to the sun and other elements? I've looked on the Deck Plans, but there is no way to tell for sure by looking at the Deck Plans. This info has to be firsthand from someone who has stayed in one of the Spa Deck Victory balconies or someone from Carnival who has actually been on the ship. No Carnival person over the phone can tell me for sure. They only have access to the Deck Plans as I do. Any help from someone who has actually experienced a stay in the particular balcony staterooms is much appreciated. We'll simply move to deck 7 or 8 if Deck 11 balconies are open to the elements. We like some sun, but not that much sun. Thank you.
That's a great question and I too would really like to know. I'm taking my son, his wife, and my three young grandsons on our first cruise in February. We have connecting rooms and connecting balcony on the Spa Deck. I have found a lot of great videos on Youtube that show the Carnival Victory and in fact one I found is the exact cruise we are going on. The Caribbean cruise. There are also many videos that show the different rooms, however non shoe the rooms or balconies on the spa deck. I'll be watching to see if you get an answer.

Yes, the balconies on the Spa Deck are covered - my wife and I have stayed on the Victory's Spa Deck twice within the last 18 months.
Highly recommend the Spa Deck, it's quiet but close to the Lido Deck and activity around the main pool.
