My husband I will be celebrating his 30th birthday on this cruise. It's his first cruise and my 2nd. We are both very excited! We are wondering if anyone else is interested in booking an excursion in freeport on the 12th . I found this awesome tour that is highly recommended on tripadvisor. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g147420-Activities-Freeport_Grand_Bahama_Island_Bahamas.html
The website for this tour- http://www.powerboatbeachparty.com/2.html
The tour looks amazing!! (check out the description below)
The problem is they need at least 7 people to book. We have 2, so we need at least 5 more people. Anyone interested? If so, please cantact Rico at Powerboat1Freeport@gmail.com. We really want to go...hopefully you do too!
Trip hours are 10:00am to 3:00pm. We pick up by boat from the beach at Island Seas Resort at 9:45 am and from Port Lucaya Marina at 10:00am.
Our first hour consists of sightseeing through the waterway of the Port Lucaya area while listening to local Bahamian music. You will see a pirate ship sitting on the inside of the waterway, and have the opportunity to view this ship in person, get onboard and take photographs.
This tour then continues through the waterway, where you will see most of the million dollar homes in one area on the island, our local name millionaires’ row, houses and land, are on sale in this location, and local real estate contacts are displayed on each property available.
As we continue our trip to Peterson Cay, you often see dolphins in open water while on the tour.
We then arrive on a private island called Peterson Cay, one of the smallest national parks in the Bahamas. Here we get off on an exotic beach where we put up umbrellas, listen to music, have access to an open bar, and enjoy your lunch of grilled lobster or fish or chicken cooked with potatoes, carrots, plantains and herbs. All lunches will be cooked fresh to perfection right before your eyes. Before getting too comfortable at the open bar, your snorkeling guide will take you out to beautiful reef where you will experience a personal touch with these beautiful corals and a minimum of 10 different species of fish.
