Just got back from the party. Had a few more drinks than I really wanted but I'm still in my right mind except I'm slightly drunk. I need to stay away from these parties, because once you're there you have a strong incentive to get drunk because otherwise it's very boring. Getting drunk is fun for a few hours maybe, but I'd prefer to focus on my goals/where I want to go rather than partying. Now I've done the partying thing a few times, so hopefully now I can go back to not partying, without feeling like I'm missing anything, I guess this a cliche but I think partying/drinking is just a slippery slope. You go to a party with two types of beer, Jameson, jungle juice, di serrano, vlad, ganja, etc. . .it's just bad news and temptations.
Yes the debates are ridiculous. I can't stand them. They are not intelligent arguments. For example I watched the first debate and Mittens was saying stuff that was stupid, for example he misused the word recession. IMO anybody running for President should know the definition of a "recession" and use the word properly when on national Tv. Especially considering he acts like he knows so much more than Obama about economics. But after the debate Mittens was declared the winner, despite all the dumb stuff he said. Why? Because he was more aggressive and interrupted the moderator all the time. To me debates are about the reasoning and intelligence of what the people state, not how primitively aggressive they behave. . .thus after hearing that Mittens won the debate I was disgusted with the whole system. Like, how the F did he win when he said all that stuff that made him sound like an idiot? Was I really they only guy watching the debate that could see through BS? Even Mitt probably knew he was misusing the word, but just wanted to ACT like we are in a recession when we're not to make Obama look bad, and that's manipulative. Educate yourself at least minimally or these guys will manipulate you. Well that's my drunken rant.
If you think your music/DJ is bad you should have heard the Irish drinking music tonight.
The sh*t is really hitting the fan in cycling right now. It's kinda of funny to see people's reactions on FB. I knew these guys were dopers so to me it doesn't really matter. Also it's interesting how in the affidavits George and Dave Z deflect all personal responsibility. They were great guys, you know. It was those bad guys, Lance and Bruyneel, and Ferrari, who pressured them and corrupted them. And people believe this stuff! They say fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Well if you believe that these were all great guys corrupted by Lance than shame on you for being fooled twice. They got on USPS because they were known dopers or because they let Bruyneel and Lance know that they were willing. Yes I'm opinionated about this but I keep seeing people write "oh poor George" and "oh Dave Z, I feel bad for the guy" Why do people feel bad for millionaires that doped their way to the good life, just because they write some crap in an affidavit?
