Thanks Suzy Q. We see it is now -3 in North Pole. We are enjoying the weather here. Just leaving St. Maarten (as the Dutch spell it) and it is sunny, warm (85 degrees or so) and very pleasant on our balcony. We are enjoying a bottle of wine we bought in the Canary Islands. There sure has not been a problem on this cruise bringing refreshments aboard. Must be the Europe influence as I never saw them taking bottles from anyone for storage.
Today we went on the Golden Eagle snorkel and beach catamaran tour. It was great. The water is unbelievably clear and warm. Mom is getting to know what she is doing snorkeling and didn't have any trouble and enjoyed herself. A lot of people enjoyed the open bar after snorkeling was over - as usual - and we sang and danced the customary YMCA on the way back to the pier. Fun - Fun.
We are at the Bonsai Shushi place last night with John and Linda Middleton. Our food came in a wooden boat and was for two. The meal included soup, salad and two california rolls and 2 shrimp, 2 salmon and 2 tuna shushimis. It was very good but not quite as good as Ajimi.
The night before last we ate at the Italian resteaurant. With John and Linda again - obviously we like them pretty well. The food and company very excellent.
Well two days at sea ahead of us and them Miami and Fort Lauderdale for a day and then home. We have a big layover in Seattle so we plan on taking the train downtown and checking out Cutters - it is one of our favorite seafood places in Seattle.
Can't wait to see all of you but we are a little bit imtimadated by the cold! Oh well only 2 months till South America!
Love - Mom and Dad
