There´s a place where fun people gather to share ideas and opinions. And that place is the forums. Good thing you're here!
Can I just seal my luggage tags in clear packing tape and punch a hole in them? Yes, I know there are some out nice ones out there for purchase, but ancillary expenses are adding up quickly and I want to cut corners where I reasonably can, so I can use our money in the important places....you know, DOD :)
Sure can. You don't have to seal them at all but I like to, but they just staple to your luggage. I also put an extra inside the bags I check in just in case the tags comes off.
Thanks Kathleen :)
Calm down, take a deep breathe and than pack and repack every week until you cruise. That's what I do lol. Have fun :)
If you happen to have letter size glossy photo paper it makes a great luggage tag. Just print them on the paper. It is heavier than standard paper. I have used them several times with no problem. A lot less labor and only a few cents each.
I use packing tape...but I do like the photo paper idea!
The photo paper is a great idea, except that I don't have any. Packing tape it is!
I think I'm almost out of dumb questions :)
Helen, there are NO dumb questions if you don't know the answers!
Have a wonderful time!!!

If you have any leftover card stock that works well too.
I use card stock or paper and put it in those plastic sheet protectors, then fold and staple to my luggage. Just in case it rains and they get wet. Lisa.
