Yeah, it was a great relief seeing him breathing on his own. Honey, I really, really, really, really really am missing being there with you and having fun with you but after walking in to the room yesterday and seeing the condition my Dad was in yesterday I'm glad I came. We still haven't caught the Doctor and the Doctor hasn't been gracious enough to respond to our message yet. I'm glad to hear the Motown show and the comedy act were so good. I could use some extended sessions of laughing right now. And Cozumel sounded interesting. I was thinking the same thing - maybe later this year we can re-do that cruise or even just take a trip to Cozumel.
Honey, I will really, really, really, really, really miss being there with you for the new year tonight. I will be sending you loys and lots of kissses at midnight with all my love! I'll be calling the kids and be sure to pass along your love. Please pass along hugs and kisses to everyone at midnight especially your mom .............. and even Jeannie. LOL! Nydia sends hugs and kisses too.I sure am sorry we're not getting to show off our salsa skills cause it sounds like the music is at least good. So have you found the formal waltz dancing yet?
Anyway, after we left the 12 noon visit we went down to the pueblo and Nydia did what she does best - shop! LOL I did hit my favorite souvenir store and found a seeds I thought Deanna would look really cute in, kinda like the one I've gotten for her from here before. But then after I brought it I had second thoughts and texted Deanna a picture. She liked it but said it wasn't her so I guess I'll be returning it tomorrow if the store is open. We also went to the mall and remember the genuine food we drove half the island lookig for to satisfy Deanna's craving? Well, it here at the food court! LOL So we brought a cople of take outs for tonight's dinner. It was sooooooo good! Remember the codfish meal I've talked about? Well there it was, along with my roast pork, yellow rice and beans, tostones and iceberg lettuce salad! LOL Speaking of which, how scrumptious has the food been there?
Yayyyyy, just saw Pop's neumologist - lung doctor - and Pop doesn't have pneumonia, which is what I was worried about. He did say that Pop had about as severe an asthma attack as he could have had but that he is responding well. We're waiting to get in for the evening visit so enough for now. Nidia sends big hugs and kisses and Happy New Year wishes. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOU HONEY!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! XOXOXOXOXOXO
Its midnight here honey. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!
Hi honey, its Tuesday evening just after 6 pm and they've just moved Pop out of ICU, Yayyyyyyy!!!! So I'll be staying the night here with him (yuck!!!!!) to keep an eye on him. Thankfully the seats are comfortable. I've already asked about bringing the air mattress and they said it'd be ok but last time Nidia was here she couldn't find the air pump and I doubt Walmart is still open. So it'll be the seat tonight and the air mattress tomorrow, hopefully! Luckily Pop is in a one person room so theres plenty of space for sn sir mattress. So, anyway, How was Belize? Was today the zip line?? I hope it was really fun and exciting. I was really looking forward to getting an adrenaline rush there. LOL. Wasnt there sethimg in the excursion descriptions about the monkeys too? I bet Carter and Jake had a blast with both. Nidia took me and Edna to this funky little seafood place, yes seafood, can you believe it? It was really good. The ambiance of the place reminded me of the half shell back home. It was right on the open water and we had this great view south. And it was a bit breezy so it felt great. All that was missing, besides you of course, was the hammock! There was even some guy giving horseback rides. LOL. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOU HONEY!!
