It has been obvious over the past few years that most all the changes that Carnival has made, has had a goal of increasing it's profits and getting more money from the passengers,
DUH.... Let's look at this statement.... since it's completely one sided from the customer point of view ( And totally wrong BTW)
profits? Where???? Have you checked the facts on this statement? Obviously not, since Carnival's profits have been down as of late.
Did you EVER consider how MUCH expenses have gone UP on Carnival's side? Did you EVER consider how Carnival has NOT imposed the fuel surcharge even though fuel prices continue to skyrocket? Have you EVER considered how much food prices have increased? ALL of this MUST be factored in when making a statement such as you made. Sorry, but a biased, one sided NON fact based statement just doesn't hold weight here. carnival IS a "For Profit" Company. Sorry if that hurts your feelings, but fact is fact. It's absurd to think carnival will take a loss in order for YOU to be happy. Their answer to this has been to find ways to NOT increase cruise prices, but rather find ways to increase revenue without affecting the ticket price.
Yes, I will be the first to agree that, in my opinion, over the last few years the food has taken a down turn a bit. With that said, I can still ALWAYS find something that is good to eat. Likewise, I don't like the deal of doing away with the reggae bands on Lido, but such is life...
