I have made this suggestion after every cruise for the last 5 years, but it's come up again recently, so I'll make it again here.

When the vast majority of the passengers are latin Americans or Europeans who are interested in soccer and no-name tennis, then playing ESPN-lite might make sense.  But we're predominately Americans; Americans who like American sports -- baseball, hockey, basketball and football [in season] and we'd appreciate being able to catch a Sportscenter or ESPN News every once in a while with the score crawls on it to see how our teams are doing.

SIG: If you're going to create the drama, at least supply the popcorn.

We agree with you 100%.  Even though I am a woman, I do like football, basketball, and baseball and would love to be able to keep up with the teams we are interested in.  I have been on a lot of cruises and some of them have shown some of the games I like to watch, but the majority do not.  Please Carnival, start showing American sports on your ships!!!!!!!!!

A friend who went on our last cruise is admittedly obsessed with baseball. He was in serious withdrawals, to the point that one night in the karaoke bar, he noticed MLB highlights on tv and actually yelled out "Oh my God, it's baseball", and then was embarrassed for having done so but really couldn't help it. Even though the speech, stats, everything was in Spanish, he was still in heaven for about 15 min. I don't think it would be a bad idea at all to get ESPN.
