I think it would be an awesome idea if Carnival had special childfree cruises! I bet they would sell out so early. There are SO many people out there who want to get away and relax, and hate the idea of screaming kids running around the boat, and at dinner. Parents, don't get your undies in a knot - I am not trying to discriminate against you. But sometimes kids are better left at home and there needs to be at least a FEW cruises that are 21 and up.

I have gone high kid time and have never had a problem with kids being annoying....having one myself though there are times that I don't want to be around kids espically when mine is not with me.  I would go on a all adult cruise!!  If you go during the school time you won't see as many kids that's for sure.

Future cruises:  June 30, 2012...the whole family....congrats to my oldest son on graduating from High School....class of 2012 on the Dream out of Port Canaveral

Past cruises:  11/10/11...just my Husband and I opps we have a stowaway.....the youngest!!! On the Elation out of New Orleans --10/ 29/10 on Elation out of Mobile for Halloween.....Jamaica (Won't go there again).....Grand Cayman.....Cozumel--9/11/10 Elation out of Mobile for our fourth Anniversary... Progresso (still YUCK!!) & Cozumel -- 4/29/10 Fantasy out of Mobile with 80 Highschool Band Kids...Plantinum!!...Cozumel  -- 04/10/10  Dream Port Canaveral ...Bahamas, St. Thomas & St. Maarten    We had a COVE cabin and LOVED it!! -- 12/19/09 Triumph  New Orleans Exotic W Caribbean ..Belize....Rotan & Cozumel --9/12/09 Holiday out of Mobile for our third Anniversary...Progresso (YUCK!!) & Cozumel --3/23/09 Holiday Mobile W Caribbean....Celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary!!  Calica and Cozumel -- 11/29/07 Holiday Mobile W Caribbean -- 11/18/06 Carnival Fantasy New Orleans W Caribbean -- 3/11/06 Celebration Jacksonville Key West & Nassau -- 3/17/03 Carnival Sensation Tampa Grand Cayman/Cozumel -- 11/1/2001 Carnival Fantasy Port Canaveral Nassau

We took our whole family, with 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren on a cruise last Christmas and have booked it again for this Christmas. It is wonderful with kids around, especially your own grandkids. But then, my wife and I take cruises by ourselves other times of the year.

I can see boyh sides and we are on the Dream in Feb and our dayghter is taking her 7 & 3 yearolds who are for the most part WELL behaved but they are kids. My wife and I always go in Feb as there are less at that time of the year with school. Also the Dream has an adult only pool area that I am looking forward to. It will be fun with the grand kids but I do envoy our adult only time. Daughter has told the kids that they have to EARN dinning room time and if they are loud or misbehave they will not go back and dine with the adults.

I am turned off by kids in the hot tub so I would book. As long as we are not suggesting hedonism. Thats what Sandals is for. But you have to give kudos to Carnival because their kids program is the best-this according to children.

I love the idea, but I doubt I would book because I'd be too afraid it would turn out to be a nudist or swingers cruise.

I would book a child-free cruise in a hearbeat and can think of several friends who would probably go with me. I am all for kids getting to go on vacation, both with their family and without. They have summer camp so I think it is entirely fair for us older folk to have a cruise.
