I was reading at another site some comments on room locations and the person writing the blog said to avoid rooms located under the pool area of the Lido deck because of the noise from the pool side party at night and the staff setting up the chairs in the morning. Our room assignment is under that area and I'm wondering if it isn't going to be a huge mistake. We aren't the kind of people that are in bed at the crack of dusk but we don't stay up until 3:00AM either. Has anybody had any experience with rooms under the pool area on the Lido Deck? Does anyone know how difficult it is to get a room assignment changed?

We have never stayed on this deck. But it is easy to change your cabin just call your travel agent or Carnival Customer Service. They have to get sick of me on our April cruise I have changed rooms 3 times. The cabin I wanted was booked so I would keep checking on line until someone cancelled. We like to be as close to the pool as we can get and like the Lido and Panarama deck only.

Do you think you feel more movement on the Lido or Panorama decks?  That is where wew are booked by my mother thinks the movement will be too much.

They only offer 10 or so cabins on-line, at a time, even though there might be many more still available.

I read that cabins under or above the Disco are pretty noisy too.

The cabin on my last cruise was under the dining room,   I read that they can be quite noisy due to staff moving around the chairs and such.  However, I never actually heard any such noise.   Honestly, I have learned to take any negative comments with a "grain of salt".

We are at the back of the ship, anyone know how the rooms are there?  We are on the 9th floor at the back inside cabin!

The 9th deck would be high enough to eliminate any engine noise or the lowering of the anchor (if you have a tender port).  Don't think you'll have any issues!  Relax and enjoy your cruise!
