        Does anyone go to Panama Canal and NOT see the canal?  That's the only reason for us taking this cruise.  We leave in 3 days.....can't wait!!!

        My wife & I took this cruise last year & if the excursion to the Canal was cancelled we would have cancelled our cruise. Can't think of many other must things to do when visiting Panama.

        Actually, we are doing the opposite repositioning from Tampa to Long Beach (Inspiration) 12/3/2011. Pass you along the way ! We'll wave.

        I am going to book the Long Beach to Tampa cruise also, I did it about 7 years ago on Royal Carb. Line from San Juan, PR to Acapulco, and on the Carnival Pride 2 years ago from Long Beach to Miami, it is a great cruise with wonderful ports, the best port for me has been Cartengana (sp), Columbia. In ports I enjoy just getting a private cab and make a deal to drive around and see the area.

        I started a roll call for the November 28, 2011 Panama Canal from Long Beach on the Paradise.  This is one cruise I am wicked excited about!

        Just say no to drama queens and kings.

        Counting down to a girlfriend cruise on the Splendor and the pirates Panama Canal cruise on the Miracle.  good luck
