...I'm wondering what everyone stays in when cruising ...
We usually book OV cabins. On our last 4 cruises, we've had kids and grandkids sailing with us. On our last cruise, we had two connecting cabins. That made it like having a two-bedroom, two-bath cabin.
You are correct that most OVs have a relatively small bathroom. On some ships, the bathroom sink is under some glass shelving and it is difficult to get your head in it for brushing teeth! Even so, we do not stay in the cabins much and we can always go up to an outside deck to stand or sit with a DOD. After all, when out in open waters, there is not much to see anyway. When in port, we are on shore for shopping or beach club. There's so much to do while on a cruise that we do not think much about the cabin we are in.
Here's hoping your next cruise is a great one. Bon Voyage!
