Hi fellow travelers,
A few of us on the Victory (sailing 6/26-7/3) are trying to get together other cruisers who may be interested in joining a tour we've come across for our stop in St. Lucia on June 30th. It's the "Land and Sea Safari" tour offered through Herod's Island Tours.
The tour offers: motor tour of Castries (the capital of St. Lucia), a drive through a banana plantation, stops at Canaries & Anse La Raye (fishing villages), "Cold Fall" waterfall, botanical gardens at Toraille, Sulphur Springs (the world’s only drive-thru/walk thru active volcano), swimming and optional snorkeling heading towards the Pitons, a Creole buffet lunch, tour of the coast (via a 32-foot outboard boat) and water taxi back to the ship. It also includes: samples of fresh sweet bananas, fresh-baked Creole bread, coconut cakes, Johnny Cakes, fish cakes, and other St. Lucian delicacies; complimentary water, beers, assorted sodas, rum punch, and other refreshments during the course of the tour.
Pricing is as follows: 1 - 5 years old (free); 6 - 10 years old: (US $45 each); 11 years old and older (US $80 each)
For more detailed information about the tour, click here: http://www.herodstours.com/land_sea_safari.html
The tour needs a minimum of 10 people (maximum of 24) to operate, so if this looks like something you're interested in, please contact Herod's Tours at http://www.herodstours.com/contact.html to inquire about availability.
Hope to see some of you along!
Thank you and happy cruising!
