Can't wait! I will be on the ship for my birthday with my life-long BFF. Who else will be at the party?

Sorry, you won't be on this ship alone. Our daughter is actually getting married on this ship that week.So will be several others on board with you. There will be several of their young couple friends taking this cruise since they will actually be getting married in Nassau if the port stops don't change again. This waiting is hard on me.We,her parents have been on carnival cruises before, she the bride has never been on a cruise.I hope everything runs smoothly.

There was a young couple getting married the last cruise I went on. Make sure to have her start taking Bonine the day before and every morning after. I know they do not want any motion sickness on the honeymoon. It is great, no side effects, i.e. sleepiness or anything else I have noticed. Always been bothered by motion sickness but not once has it bothered me since I started using the Bonine. Congratulations to the bride and groom and all who love them.

OK we are nearing the double digit countdown. I know I am partying for my birthday and I know there will be a young couple glowing with anticipation of marital bliss. So what I want to know now is there anyone also going with or without special occasions?

That's my birthday too, and I WILL be with my BFF, just not on the cruise.  However, we did cruise her in November to Nassau and Freeport.  Is that where you are going?  If so, eat at the AGAVE in Freeport.  It is very good.  And if you are a beer drinker (which I can take or leave), make sure you get their Bahama beer, Kalik.  It is awesome.  Have fun and if you have any questions, ask me here or on my email at moneybillsp@aol.com

Well Happy Birthday in advance. I have been on the Fascination 3 times but do the Half Moon Cay cruise normally. This will be the first time to Freeport. Did you go to the Radisson Resort and is Agave near there? I am like you with beer but we have had Kalik several times in Nassau. My husband started this past year sending me and one of my girl friends on a cruise for my birthday. This one is extra special, we have been friends since we were 17. Have seen each other through the lost of my daughter, parents on both sides and divorces(met through the ex-husbands and while marriages didn't last friendship did.) We live so far apart that talking on the phone constantly is usually as good as it gets so I was thrilled when my husband said he had booked us for the cruise. Any other advice you have for Freeport would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I just booked yesterday.  No special occasion this time, just wanted to get away somewhere warm in the middle of February.  Our last cruise we stayed very busy, and wanted a "do-over" where we might just find a lounge chair on Serenity and sit there for four days.Cool

@sevencs last year my husband knew he was about to be working a lot of over time and we booked on Fascination( Nassau, HMC) just to relax. It was great! Didn't feel the need to get in a hurry for anything. We found lounge chairs in the Serenity area, ordered a DOD and watched the open sea all the time. Absolutely Fantastic!!! We did make sure to catch the comedy shows at night. You will enjoy doing the NOTHING cruise!
