January 2012 Drydock...

Hi everyone - As you probably all know, the Spirit is going into Drydock in early January so She can go to Australia in tip top shape.  I was wondering if anyone out there had any specific information about what they are doing?  I know they have said the ship will be getting the new Waterworks, but what about the seaside theatre?  Specific dining changes?  Mini golf staying, etc, etc.

I'll be on board for the March 16th cruise and I guess curiosity just got the best of me.  Thanks!

i am also curios about what they are going to do to the spirit. we are booked on the spirit for march 2. i would also like to know where they are going to drydock the ship. any information would be greatly appreciated.

   Working on the waterslide, also a flat screen tv's in all rooms and there is something more but I cant remember. I will go on Fb to carnival site and talk to them and see if I can get an answer!

I hope you people are kidding abut the ship going into drydock. We are booked on the Spirit  February 4th cruise.

Hi FinnMacCool - I'm pretty sure the Spirit will be in Drydock from January 6th - January 19th.  I really can't see it jepordizing your cruise in any way...sounds like its been planned for a while now. 

I'm also wondering if the ship will be getting any of the "lab" options and changes some of the other ships are getting.  We'll have to wait and see I guess...

We will be on the maiden voyage after the refurbish (January 20).  Will try and jump and line and update everyone with the changes while on the ship.

I have been reading various articles and it seems our Hawaii trip is never mentioned. I've been looking at port schedules for 2012 and we haven't been on them. I know when we booked, the carnival agent on the ship said it was newly added, this was in January.

 You are going to have soo much fun in Hawaii cruise. I am waiting for then to put up 2013 for april. I love the cruise it has to go down s my all time fav.!!

Looking forward to your update Dallas.  I'm curious to know if they will be changing over all the power outlets inside the cabins over to the Ausie configuration, rendering all our electronic devices useless without the proper adaptors.  It would be nice to know ahead of time.
