Destiny, May 14-May 19, 2012

I know I'm early but wondering if anybody out there is planning on this sailing to Half Moon Cay, Grand Turks and Nassau.  We are 2 couples leaving the kids behind for a nice adult vacation.  Already booked my cabana and noticed that 3 others are booked and so isn't the Oasis so I know there are people going other then us.

Ring on in if your going.

Hi Momoftrips1121,  YES!!!  Me and my sister will be joining you on MAY 14th!!  My first CRUISE!!   So tell me all ya know!!

Welcome Aboard SistersTS.  Prepare to be addicted to cruising.  This makes #4 for me and #3 for my husband.  We are going with friends, #2 for 1 and a first for her BF.  

I don't know where to start so ask away and I will try to answer what I can.

I hope the rollcall picks up now that we are closer.

Have you or your guests ever cruised this SHIP before?  And what are some things YOU are looking forward to as far as doing while on board??  (Not shore excursions)  Thanks!    Sounds like you got a fun group of people going!! 

I was suppose to be on this ship in October for my Girls Cruise Birthday weekend celebration and the ship got chartered not once but twice .  I ended up on the Imagaination to Nassau instead and guess who pulled up right beside us....yup, the Destiny.  She followed us home.  I knew then I had to get on this ship.

I have 17 yr old triplets that I am leaving home with my 30 year old nephew so I all really want to do is RELAX and have a few .  HMC and the Cabana was the main reason why I picked this itinerary.  For Nassau, I am just staying on the ship.  I am going with good friends.  One of which was on my cruise in October and now she's hooked.  She is now bringing her BF whos a newbie.  We're hoping he enjoys it so he can go on more.

What are you most looking forward to doing on the ship?

Well my sister is the DANCER, Party queen, Kareoke?  But I will enjoy the drinks and the ADULT only pool and hot tubs!!  A Girls cruise sounds awesome!!!!   Trying to figure out the lounge with the most up to date hip music!  Like what your 17 yr olds listen too!  Or is there only one lounge that has a DJ?  Do YOU decorate your door???  This sounds FUN!!!  thinking about it!!!

Honestly, I'm not much into the night clubs.  I'm a casino person and maybe the adult comedy show.  You should go over to cruisecritic.com and look up some reviews to get some ideas on the night clubs.  There are some on the Destiny that I have read.  Most ships have a few clubs and I'm always hearing "that type of music" coming out of one of them.  They do have Karaoke too I've read.  I haven't decorated our door but on our Girlscruise, we did pay Carnival to decorate the room for one of the girls birthday.  They did a good job.  I have seen some of the doors decorated.  Some people do a good job. I say Go for it!

Just an FYI, check your prices.  There was a small price drop. Unfortunately I booked early enough that I paid less then what the rate is at today but I'm holding out for maybe another price drop soon
