Roll Call: April 2, 2012 - Carnival Destiny from Miami (Exotic Eastern Caribbean)

I guess I am the lucky guy that gets to start our "Roll Call" thread =)

My wife and I will be enjoying the "Exotic Eastern Caribbean" cruise on the Destiny the week of April 2nd 2012. I have cruised before, but this will be my wife's first cruise ever. We will be happy to enjoy a week of sunshine in the Caribbean after dealing with another typical harsh and cold Michigan winter, lol. 

We are a couple of hard working parents with two children that drive us insane most of the time, lol. We are looking to get the "heck out of dodge" for a while, and the Destiny is the perfect way to just relax and unwind, allowing the sun and ocean to take away the challenges of everyday life for a while.

From laying out on the deck drinking strange exotic drinks you've never heard of before, to snorkeling off the coast of Grand Turk on one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world, we will be soaking up every last bit of sunshine and salt water we can to take home with us. 

It is a pleasure to meet you all prior to our sail date. We hope to hear from others that we will be boarding with on 4/2/12 with us.

Done that same cruise twice last year, April & Oct. Here are a coupe sites for you if you have never been before.http://www.grandturkcc.com/webcam.aspx a very informative site. then our favorite spot in GT. http://www.jacksshack.tc  The Jack Shack is just up the beach from Margretaville and far less expensive for you if you have any children. If you have children, they will have fun with Topher, the dog there. The Jack Shack is also on FB. HMC is just a beach day of fun and relaxation. Nassau: http://www.brentjes.com/nassau  Nassau is our anniversary spot every year. GT is our favorite. Have fun and enjoy.
