Feb 13/2012 countdown!!!

I am a first time cruiser on pins and needles counting down the days. Joining me will be my dad(2nd cruise) and brother(1st timer as well). Just got the upgrade to an ocean view room offered via  email and have been yet again glued to this site.

I talked them into this back in November when trying to decide what do for my 30th birthday 12/14/2012. As it turns out I won't be celebrating my 30th birthday but 1st 29th year anniversary because we will be over international waters(I wikipedia'd it).

Played it safe and booked the excursions with Carnival. I really couldn't tell you what sounds like more fun the ship or excursions?!?!  What I do know is I am making the vow to not worry about my problem areas in a two piece, if I'm  too dressed up for dinner one night(Ilove that gown), or stress over the reviews claiming the staff is unfriendly(I'm sure NY or Chi Town has it far worse)!

I was plagued with a birth date that most of the nation wants to celebrate in secluded couple evenings. My hopes are to attend a bash of a life time. I don't have doubts that many crusiers are in it for VDay but what makes this cruise special for you all?

Sounds like we have a bit in common. I am also booked on the Feb 13th cruise for my first ever cruise. I am a bit luckier than you, as I missed the big bad V-day birthday by a full two minutes to have a Feb 15 birthday - my 37th. I am sure excited to be lying on the beach for my birthday this year - sure beats shoveling snow!

Hi went on Thansgivin cruise and we loved it my granddaughter 20 met someone at the hotel before cruise and it continued on cruise and to date they are seeing each other not that is the reason to cruise but we loved everything, service terrfic, food good to excellent all the time, clean and watch the machines in the casino tight tight but fun clubs great have to do the slide wow hubby 66 said he loved this anyway relax have a blast our first names were remembered after first drink entire cruise nice nice 5 days of pleasure enjoy linda, dave and granddaughter

Hey Audrey i have been on many royal caribbean crusies before but this is my first carnival cruise and i have no doubt that it will be amazing.  It's awsome that your first crusie is also gunna be your birthday it is going to be alot of fun for you no doubt.  I didnt even realize that the crusie was the week of valentines day until a few weeks ago lol.  I just booked a cruise to take a vacation from work and thought nothing of the date until a few weeks ago but regardless of the reason for going on the cruise it will be a good time for all.  Hopefully we run into each other on the ship, but if not have a Great Birthday!!!

Rocknchik we should meet at one of the clubs just before midnight 2/14 and do a shot at 11:58pm for mine and one at 12.02 for yours.. haha
And if anyone is not wrapped up in the mushy, sickening sweet VDay fever Keywest has a pub crawl excursion and I'm signed up. Could be a cool way for anyone on this topic to meet up among the masses.

My Birthday is also on Valentine's Day. It will be my first Birthday at sea. I am also celebrating my engagement as I just got engaged on 1/05/12. So many reasons to have fun. Can't wait!
