      Carnival worst of the worst

      WILL NEVER USE THIS HORRIBLE CRUISE LINE. They have no compassion for the hard working people who pay there hard earned money to them. Wife went into emergency surgery late the night before our cruise was set to leave and could not travel at all for the next week to ten days. I called and since we did not purchase the trip insurance they said they could do nothing. Was told to send in the proper documents and maybe something good could happen. After weeks of being patient I called and was told they were still reviewing the case and it would be a couple of more weeks. Two hours later I get an EMAIL, they don't even have the compassion to call, stating basically tough luck we are keeping your money. I admit that in hindsight I should have purchased the insurance but never thought that something like that would happen to my wife.

      I don' know how the people that work there sleep at night except for the owners who no doubt get a great nights sleep on a bed of our hard earned money. 

      AGAIN PLEASE AVOID THIS HORRIBLE CRUISE LINE THAT EMPLOY PEOPLE WITH NO CHARACTER, INTEGRITY, OR COMPASSION FOR THE EVERYDAY PERSON UNLESS THAT PERSON HAS A POCKET FULL OF MONEY.

      I am sorry to hear about your wife,

      But travel insurance is to help if something like this happens, It is really no different then having car insurance or home owners.

      If all companies refunded money to people that did not think to protect their investment, more would go out of business, and to many companies are closing as it is.

      Just say no to drama queens and kings.

      Counting down to a girlfriend cruise on the Splendor and the pirates Panama Canal cruise on the Miracle.  good luck

      The insurance is to protect you from the unexpected, like this.  Without it, you are just admitting that you are willing to take the risk that nothing will happen.  How can you blame the cruise line, for your choices?  The exact same thing will happen with any cruise line, or any other type of vacation bookings. And people with money will get no better treatment in these matter, either.  You are just trying to lash out, but I have to agree with Carnival's decision.  If they break the rules for you, they must do it for everyone. Good luck with the next cruise line you choose.  It won't be any different.

      Well, not only should they have refunded every cent that you paid, they should have given you a free cruise since your wife suffered so, and they should have given you free drink coupons, free laundry, two free meals at the steakhouse, free accommodations pre and post cruise, free airfare (first class) and free excursions.   I am sure that everyone will agree with me!!!!!!!
