After years of delivering poor quality cruises with terrible food and cranky staff all the while ignoring the

mounting customer complaints. the CCL corporation has finally screwed up so badly that it will be impossible for

it to hide under a stone any longer
It would seem that the CCL process of hiring only the least expensive and hence the least qualified and capable

personel for its staff must extend all the way up to the captain, who couldn`t manage to keep a ship off of a

reef even with the dozens of other staff on duty and millions of dollars of navigational equipment at his

      disposal.
Of course it may not have been the fault of the captain. If the staff on duty with him at his station were as

unattentive to their duties as the rest of the staff on the ship, he may as well have been alone.
And if the navigational equipment was working as well as the average CCL air conditioner, meaning not at all,

then he really was alone on the bridge.

Someone from Another cruise liner most likely. As you can see his first post. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Been waiting all his life to be able to say something negative here. Probably did something dumb and lost a deposit or something.

      poor quality cruises

Wrong, best value in the industry.

      multicruiserxxx:
      terrible food

Wrong, very good to excellent food.

      multicruiserxxx:
      cranky staff

      Wrong, never met one yet.

How would you know? With that big chip on your shoulder it sounds like they may have turned you down, which means they did something right.

Since your premises are all incorrect, you get a FAIL.

IF You think so poorly of CCL why would you be on there forum page??  Seems like a real waste of your time!

Maybe you should hop over to another cruise lines website.. and maybe book you next cruise with them.. I am sure they are happy to assist  you! Good Luck!

As for the terrible accident that has occurred I am saddened by the loss of life! My thoughts are prayers are with there families!

I have always had a wonderful experience when traveling on Carnival. I cannot speak for other cruise lines, but I have never had a complaint about anything when on-board. I give 2 thumbs up to Carnival and their crew from what I have seen Yes Yes

Well, as multicruiser said "LAST" and not latest disaster, I'm going to take that as a postive endorsement of Carnival (CCL) as there won't be anymore..  If this was thier last then, I'm good.  I've got cruise 8 booked in 3 weeks and I'm already looking for crusie 9.  And, I do think it's a little like danincing on someone's grave.  No sympathy for the lives that were lost, just joy that Carnival looks bad.
