This is a picture of your room on the Victory, a sister ship of the Glory. It doesn’t seem like you can tell if the beds are bolted to the wall or not, but it looks like they can be moved. I think they are set up that way due to access for a wheelchair. I think you are going to run into some issues with the beds being in the way of the floor if you move them though.
I heard about that semi-secret deck, but I have never been there. Last year we were on the Pride and had this extended balcony that was beside the room steward closet, so our balcony was 3 times longer than a normal balcony. It was like having that semi-secret balcony all to our own. We had two lounge chairs, two regular chairs and a table out there and still had plenty of room.
If you booked with the early saver rate, you might be able to get an upgrade to an ocean view room, and the layout would be better. We got the balcony last year because of the early saver rate. We had book a normal balcony on the main deck and got several upgrades and OBCs to eventually end up with that room. We are keeping our 7th deck in the middle of the ship balcony for this cruise. Don’t think any other room, except for a suite would be worth it.
