Greetings Jeff & Dawn,
We also are booked on this sailing. We are Lisa & Dayo from Long Island. This will be our 10th Cruise. Our 1st Carnival Cruise.
We are Royal Caribbean fans but decided to try Carnival since we found a great deal and also the ship leaves from New York.
There is a Roll Call up on www.CruiseCritic.com for this cruise where a few people have been chatting it up. One of the members Sarahleebones created a fantastic blog all about the cruise. A one stop shop for everything. She did a great job. There's even a NYC harbor cam to link to. Current Cabin Prices, ship info, etc, etc.
Here's the link to the blog.
and the Cruise Critic link. You will have to register at Cruise Critic to be able to Post.
Cruise Critic has been my bible for cruises since 2003. Very informative and filled with seasoned cruisiers as well as first time cruisers.
If the links don't click thru just type in Cruisecritic, go to Boards (top left about 2inches down). Then ROLL CALLS, then CARNIVAL, then MIRACLE, then you should see CARNIVAL MIRACLE 10 DAYS, MARCH 6......
All this, in case your interested and haven't found Cruise Critic yet. The roll call itself is a little frustrating to me but the Boards themselves are very informative. The best part for me is being able to consult the PORTS and get input about shore excursions. If you do venture to Cruise Critic don't bother reading the entire Miracle March 6 Roll Call. I did it and it was a real long waste of time. Use the time exploring the bards instead for the questions you might really have. Once you register and post the girls will get you up to speed fast about the goings on. They are a great little bunch!!!!
Well enough of my babbling. I'm glad I found you. I think as you kind of said, in time more cruisers will find us......
~~~~ Happy Sails~~~~
