I just can't believe the treatment I get with this cruise line. Their customer service is a joke the entire cruise line is a joke. I can't imagine why you would possibly want to cruise with them.
Submitted my third price drop form on Friday since booking my cruise this one for $100.00 reduction. I got my email yesterday and guess what..... That's right DENIED! I couldn't believe it how ridiculous is that. In the email there is a number there to call if you don't agree but why bother to call since according to some people they are just ripping you off. When I booked the cruise I thought the price was too high but I booked with the expectation I would get a lower price later on. I should of known better it was too good to be true.
Now that's how most email from people who are apparently not happy with Carnival would look like however mine is much different. Do I think Carnival is a JOKE! Of course it's a joke that you can go on a vacation with your family for so cheap and have the time of your life so much that you just want to book another one as soon as you get off.
Do I think the customer service is a JOKE! Of course I do. It's a joke that even when they deny you for a price reduction they take the time to look into things when you call them to investigate to see if the customer might be right instead of just outright denying you. As a matter of fact the first time I submitted a price reduction form I messed it up and didn't fill it in right. (Which was my fault.) Now they could of just denied me which they did at least the email said "we have denied your price reduction claim however we have adjusted your price to the lower price which was available when you submitted." That's right they simply adjusted my price to what I should of received had I taken the time to read the form correctly.
Now for my latest request which was filled out correctly was denied. Hey I could of gone off and freaked out however I took the time to call the number on the email that said if I didn't agree with them to call. Once I call they did look into it but from what they were seeing they were correct once again I didn't freak out. The lady told me that if I still didn't agree to contact the price reduction guess services and she gave me the number and extension. So I called today and without having to argue they looked into the price at the time I submitted and found that I was correct and adjusted my booking right away.
Now even if I was incorrect in the price reduction I did not really book my cruise with the expectation of getting a price reduction I booked it because it was a great price if I received any reduction there after it would simply be a bonus for me. (more drinking money) I must say this will be my third cruise with Carnival and I have nothing but GREAT things to say and looking forward to bringing my kids which are 19 and 21 on their first Carnival cruise. I know they will have a blast and will want to come on more with us in the future.
