Even though this is being posted late hee is the inal entry in this trips story. Saturday morning.
The day no one wanted to see was
finally here. We woke up again bright and early at 7: 30. Our
suitcases had ben taken sometime overnight to the place we had seen
yesterday on the tour. We had decided the night before we would do
Lido buffet since it was quicker and we had to be out of the cabin by
8:30. This morning I had an omelet with everything in it, a couple
hash browns, and a piece of ham. Of course with the orange guava
cocktail juice to drink as usual. For the first time this entire
cruise we finally were able to score a table outside on deck and
definitely enjoyed the fresh air. After breakfast we just hung out.
Nothing was open since we were n port and they had told us the
waiting areas were the Promenade deck and Lido deck. We stayed up on
Lido for a bit then decided to check out the Queen Mary since Tom,
out Assistant Cruise Director, had told us there were movies playing.
(Eric was busy elsewhere apparently and couldn't make the
announcements like usual). We discovered once getting into the lounge
all it was was TCM playing on a big screen. We gave it maybe 20
minutes then went back up to Lido where we grabbed a couple lounge
chairs and relaxed. Before we knew it they called for zone 8
debarkation (which was our zone) we had to head down to deck 7 and
leave the ship (oh wait I think I lost my card can I stay?) Sadly
that excuse would not work so we followed the line, sae Eric on the
stairs and said goodbye. They scanned our cards and then we were on
the gangway back into the terminal. Our luggage was waiting for us
downstairs and then had a quick and painless customs check. Now we
were exiting the terminal and got one last look at the ship. Goodbye
Carnival Paradise we will miss you!
