There´s a place where fun people gather to share ideas and opinions. And that place is the forums. Good thing you're here!
Hi there! I just booked this sailing for my husband, myself and our 2 year old daughter! Super excited as this will be our first cruise! YAY!
5th floor i think but we don't get our room number til we board. we did opt for the balcony but i think it is an obstructed view. do you have any recommendations for shore excursions? we really want to go to a luau while in maui or honolulu but aren't sure which is really best for us. have u been to aloha swap meet/flea market? i really wanna know if its worth checking out! can u give me the low down on what a seasoned cruiser really packs? what things should i leave and what should i definitely bring? the writeup for the room says its 2 twins that make a king bed..do i have to request to have it made as a king? sorry i have alot of questions! hope someone can answer some of em!
I try to do my best to answer all your questions..we done this cruise before but the only thing was it was a 12 day one and we flew home from Hawaii..they dont do that anymore. Once we got to Hawaii is was all shorts and tank tops as the weather was so warm and I so voer pack too many clothes. As each day you are out to sea and getting closer to Hawaii it gets warmer and warmer weather wise. So this time I wont over pack cause you really dont waer all those clothes. We didnt do an luau but I like too maybe this one. I had heard there isnt really any good ones out there but I believe I wont listen to any one this time and do one. We rented a car on each place we went to and did our own thing. which is the way to go. Renting a car in Hawaii isn't lots of money either. They should have requested your bed as a King if you booked as a couple so I don't think you need to worry about that. We did do the pearl Habor one and went to the volcanoes too. I bought lots of summer dresses in Hawaii as they have a flew market in Ohana in Waikiki that is miles and miles and the prices are great there so if you thinking of buying anything wait for that. I guess like I said remember its warm in Hawaii so you dont need lots of clothes to pack but it is a 15 day cruise. I always do some laudary as they have washer and dryer on the ship so that helps not over packing either. I hope this helps and if you want to know more I try to help or maybe someone else can help answer some of your questions. Have a perfect Monday ! Kathy
