I crusied on Inspiration October 30-November 3.  The whole experience was great.  My kids loved Club O2 and Circle C.  There was lots to do on board too.  Food was very tasty...do try the Chocolate Melting Cake and the Grand Marnier Souffle!   We were in the Carnivale Dining Room with George the Greek--hilarious!  I loved the singing and dancing waiters.  (you have to see it for yourself!)

I am ready to cruise again...have a great time if you're heading out on the Inspiration.

Glad you had a great time!! I was on the Inspiration Aug. 30 thru Sept. 4, and had a blast. Met the band in the Avante Garde bar and Jocelyn a bartender on the Lido deck. I had so much fun I'm going back on Jan. 31, 09. Can't Wait!!!!Cool

I know you feel like your on cloud nine. I find after a cruise you feel like your walking on air. It's like the presidential debate. I want to tell the whole world to take a cruise you'll fell better.

      Hey Ladyrev22,

Glad you had a great time on your cruise.  My DH and I are cruising on the Inspiration in 24 days, Dec 1-6 to Grand Cayman and Cozumel!!  We are first time cruisers and are tooooo excited!!  We are celebrating my DH's 40th birthday so we splurged and got a cat 12 stateroom -- woo hoo!

Any other positive or negative feedback regarding the ship, advice, suggestions on things we should take, excursions we should do, or sites we should not miss, etc?

      Thanks.

There are a lot of things to do on the ship.  If you go in for high activity, get a seat up near the pool so you can hear all of the action.  Do not miss the Hairy Chest contest.  it is hysterical to see grown men dancing around like strippers!

I really enjoyed the galley tour.  You get to see where all of the food is prepared.  It's pretty amazing when you consider that the crew feeds all of the passengers and the 900 plus crew members every day.

We stayed away from the pricey shore excursions in Cozumel.  You can hop in a taxi just outside the pier and go anywhere on the island.  We spent the day at Paradise Beach.  The taxi ride was $15 each way.  There is no admission fee at the beach unless you want to snorkel or use the other water equipment they have.  Then it's only $10 per person.  There is a restaurant and bar there too.   It is reasonably priced amd the food was tasty.

Karaoke on board is great fun if you go in for that sort of thing.  I also enjoyed the afternoon tea time in the Rhapsody in Blue lounge.

I didn't think the shows were all that good...but I come from a performance background so I am biased there.  Oh, make sure you go to the Captian's party...you get free drinks!

      Have a great cruise!

Ladyrev22, I had heard they stopped doing the galley tours - but you were able to go on one??  We did one last year on Victory but I'd like to do it again.  We're bringing 2 other couples with us who've never sailed and I know they'd enjoy taking the tour.  Nice to know!

      Luv 2 Float -

I just got back yesterday and we did the galley tour on Friday.  It was definately very cool!  What an amazing trip!  I loved every minute of it and wish we were still there!!!!!!  We did a "Snuba" excursion in Cozumel.  It was awesome!  You don't have to be certified and you go down into the reef with the regulator attached to a tank on the top floating.  It was the time of our lives!  Amazing!  It was only 69/person and worth every penny!!!

Do you need to make reservations for this in advance?
