(1) We are so hooked that despite being retired and receiving my teacher's pension and Social Security, I work 165 days a year (the maximum I can work without hurting my Social Security Benefits) as a substitute teacher just to finance Diane's and my Carnival Cruise addictions.
(2) We are so hooked that we constantly monitor AirTran for cheap flights to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, or Tampa, and then check Carnival for any inexpensive cruises that match the cheap airfare dates, regardless of the ship or itinerary.
(3) We are so hooked that we have a collection/fleet of 25+ 24 K gold-plated ships on a stick on the top shelf of our computer desk, yet we want more.
I am so hooked that I can't stand seeing the five-month gap between our June 13, 2009, family cruise on the Pride, and our November 2, 2009, farewell cruise on the Holiday, without trying to find an August cruise to fill-in that huge five-month gap.
(5) Thankfully, Number 4 no longer applies. My wife Diane found a great Eastern Carribean Cruise on the Liberty for September 19th, and AirTran had some great special airfare rates on March 5th. I think/hope I can last for a full three months without stepping aboard a Funship.
