We got off the ship at 8:15 a.m., got a van for $15 one way and headed to Playa Uvas.  Short 10 minute ride there, we paid the balance of our entrance fee and we were sitting on the beach with a drink in hand by 9:00.  We booked the Discover Scuba for our 3 kids and the guided snorkel tour for my husband and I.  Each included lunch and open bar.  The water is crystal clear since it is a reef beach and the snorkeling was good. The kids said their dive was the most awesome thing they've ever done.  After their dive and our snorkeling, lunch was served in the outdoor restaurant.  We had grilled fish, rice and veggies and it was by far the best meal of our trip.  The service was wonderful and we tried lots of yummy tropical drinks after our meal.  The kids got to have whatever virgin frozen drinks they wanted as well.  We went back out and did some snorkeling and just relaxed.  We had to be back on the ship by 3:30 and our waiter had a van waiting for us promptly at 3:00.  It was a perfect day except it went by much to quickly.  I would recommend this beach club for anyone who wants a good snorkeling beach.  It is not a white, sandy beach and would not be good for small kids.  I would recommend Nachi Cocum for those who want easy access into the water and pretty sand.  They are both great places to spend the day.  If you have any questions, i'd be glad to help you.

      YesGreat review Diane.

      What was the price?

For the snorkel tour, did they take you off shore to one of the reefs?
