My husband and I and our daughter (10) are booked for this cruise.  It's our first one.   There are several members of our family going

on this cruise.  We are all very excited.  Just can't wait till the 7th.  What are the rumored price reductions you heard about?  Are you all

waiting to book excursions on the ship?  I've read that might be better so you can see what the weather is going to be like etc...  On

the other hand, I would hate to not be able to do it because they were sold out.  I feel out of my eliment, this is all new to me.  We

book our flight into Miami today, why is this nervewracking hahaha lol???Confused  Am wondering if we need to book a hotel for the 14th

as we are not flying out till the 15th.   And do we go ahead and sign up with CC shuttle service for a ride from the airport to the port, I

think I read somewhere on here there was some shuttle service that runs on the hour from the airports to the port.  Wonder if it's any

cheaper?   But can't find it now.  Any ideas?

My husband and I will be on this cruise and are also excited. We are also new to cruising! We booked two excursions outside of Carnival - cave tubing in Belize and dune buggies in Cozumel. Otherwise we are going to wait until we get on board, I think. We are staying at the Airport Regency in Miami. Not a high-class place, but looks clean and had good feedback, and they provide shuttle service from the airport and to the port on Sunday, free of charge.

So are you flying in on SUnday the 7th?   Or coming in on the 6th?  Our flight isn't in until the 7th and then when we get back on the 14th we are staying overnight in Miami and flying out on the 15th.  We couldn't seem to find any flights out on the 14th that weren't early in the morning.

I'm booked on the same cruise were going  cave tubing and zipline tour other days were snorkeling then Cozumel were going to the Mayan ruins and shopping I was told by others Cozumel has the best for shopping out of all the other places. I heard of others coming back with bags full of vanilla beans. I just worried about the pesticides they use on themZip it! I haven't made up my mind if I'm going to buy them or not. I'm showing up early to avoid super bowl traffic in Miami I'm driving from Orlando area.I'm getting more excited the closer it gets.

don't be afraid of booking your excursions with carnival if something happens to your excursion they will give you your money back. Most likely you can wait till you get on the boat.I'm booking mine with my travel agent I got my tickets with.OHHH the best way to find out whats going on your cruise is to read the news letter they put at your door every morning. if you don't get one call the front desk they do.My sister been on Carnival about 7 months ago and she told me they have about 4 to 5 games a day to play. You will never get bored on the boat.I see you have a 10 year old daughter too I guess our daughter will play together.Your daughter will love it and will never want to leave the children program.

We are flying in on the 6th and spending the night. We are coming from Kansas City and our travel agent advised going in a day early because weather here can be so unpredictable in February, and we didn't want to risk missing the boat if we were scheduled to fly in the same day and there was a snow/ice event here in KC!. I was shocked by how expensive flights and our hotel were, but just learned that not only is Feb. 7 Super Bowl Sunday, it's Super Bowl Sunday in MIAMI! I'm guessing that's why.
